Pledger and linebacker David Ugwoegbu (uh-GWAY-boo) were named the Big 12 Offensive and Special Teams Players of the Week, respectively, after they led the Sooners to a 53-45 quadruple-overtime victory over No. 22 Texas in the Red River Showdown, the league office announced Monday.
