On the 20th anniversary of the September 11 attacks, Oklahoma State will wear special “9-11-01 Never Forget” patches on their jerseys as part of a rare white-gray-white combination.
OSU will wear the classic white helmet with orange brand and white facemask and bookend the look with white bottoms.
As color combinations go, this might be the most rare. OSU has worn white-gray-white just once, in the debut of the previous uniform kit (the first to include gray) during the season-opener against Louisiana-Lafayette in 2011. The Cowboys won that game 61-34 in Stillwater.
Oklahoma State has used the gray for memorial looks in the past. OSU donned a black-gray-black look with commemorative military patches and trimmings against Kansas in 2019.
