KREF’s (99.3 FM and 1400AM) mission is to provide a high level of quality sports broadcasting in conjunction with building strong relationships with the University of Oklahoma, the metro high schools, local businesses, community organizations and nonprofits.
ON-AIR PERSONALITIES
SportsTalk 99.3 FM and 1400AM has an incredible line-up of eight experienced and diverse hosts including:
- Toby Rowland – the voice of Sooners has had you covered every weekday morning from 6-9 am with the “T-Row in the Morning Show” on the Ref since 2004.
- T.J. Perry – Toby’s ‘very best friend in the whole wide world’ and co-host of the “T-Row in the Morning Show” since its beginning.
- Chris Plank – Sideline reporter for OU Football, the voice of Sooner softball and host of “Plank Show” 9 am-12 pm.
- Josh Helmer – Co-host of the “Plank Show,” is our in-house expert on high school sports and heavily integrated into our streaming coverage on KREFSports.tv.
- Mike Steely – The ‘Steelman’ is a radio legend in the state of Oklahoma and hosts “The Steelman and Thune at Noon” every weekday from 12-2 pm. Calls from his uncle are included.
- Parker Thune – Co-host of “The Steelman and Thune at Noon” with a full hour focused on Sooner football recruiting, “Locked-In”. Parker is one of the authorities in Sooner football recruiting with his coverage at OU Insider.
- Tyler McComas – Co-host of both “Locked-In” and “The Rush”. We are pretty sure Tyler has been addicted to the Sooners since he came out of the womb.
- Teddy Lehman – Former Butkus and Bednarik award-winning linebacker for the Sooners, color analyst for the Sooner football radio broadcasts and host of “The Rush” weekdays from 3-6 pm.
