Sooners In Hunt After 18 At Carmel Cup

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. – The Oklahoma men’s golf team opened its 2021-22 season Friday in the opening round of the Carmel Cup, firing a 1-under 359 in a six-count-five scoring format. The seventh-ranked Sooners sit in sixth place after 18 holes, just four shots behind day one leaders Georgia at the tournament hosted annually at the Pebble Beach Golf Links.
