Chris Plank’s NFL Mock Draft

April 28, 2021
  1. Jaguars – Trevor Lawrence, QB Clemson
  2. Jets – Zach Wilson, QB BYU
  3. 49ers – Mac Jones, QB Alabama
  4. Falcons – Kyle Pitts, TE Florida
  5. Bengals – Penei Sewell, OT Oregon
  6. Dolphins – Jamaar Chase, WR LSU
  7. Lions – Justin Fields, QB Ohio State. I’m not a big fan of projecting trades. So with that disclaimer, I don’t necessarily think the Lions pick here. It wouldn’t surprise me if someone moves up to take either Fields or Lance. BUT, with both Sewell and Chase off the board, I think anything is possible with the Lions.
  8. Panthers – Trey Lance, QB North Dakota State. Another situation where I don’t think that the Panthers will end up drafting here. BUT, they are not committed long term to Darnold and this would be some pretty solid insurance if it doesn’t work out with the former Jet.
  9. Broncos – Micah Parsons, LB Penn St
  10. Cowboys – Patrick Surtain, CB Alabama
  11. Giants – Kwitty Paye, DE Michigan
  12. Eagles – Rashawn Slater, OT Northwestern
  13. Chargers – Christian Darrisaw, OT Virginia Tech
  14. Vikings – Alijah Vera-Tucker, OL USC
  15. Patriots – Jaylon Waddle, WR Alabama
  16. Cardinals – Davonta Smith, WR Alabama
  17. Raiders – Trevon Moehrig, S TCU. I think there are a handful of options here for the Raiders. If you are to believe the hype, then they are smitten with Parsons. Barring a fall, though, it’s unlikely he will be there when the Raiders pick. Move down and take Barrmore out of Alabama who would fill a need or potentially decide to get your right tackle in Jenkins.
  18. Dolphins – Najee Harris, RB Alabama
  19. WFT – Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, LB Notre Dame
  20. Bears – Jaycee Horn, CB South Carolina
  21. Colts – Teven Jenkins, OL OSU
  22. Titans –Elijah Moore, WR Ole Missu
  23. Jets – Azeez Ojulari, Edge Georgia
  24. Steelers – Creed Humphrey, C Oklahoma
  25. Jags – Caleb Farley, CB Virginia Tech
  26. Browns – Zaven Collins, LB Tulsa
  27. Ravens – Alex Leatherwood, OL Alabama
  28. Saints – Jaelan Phillips, Edge UCLA/Miami
  29. Packers – Kadarius Toney, WR Florida
  30. Bills – Travis Etienne, RB Clemson
  31. Ravens — Greg Newsome II, CB Northwestern
  32. Bucs – Gregory Rousseau, Edge Miami
