• Terrific look at where Cowboy Football players are going in NFL mock drafts (PFB)

I like this take on Malcolm Rodriguez also:

In 2021, Rodriguez recorded 129 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, three sacks, and four forced fumbles. While he lacks size, Rodriguez can play, and somebody will call his name before the fifth round.

This piece looks at the most underrated rivalries in college football and Bedlam is listed – and the question is asked if the tide is turning with OSU winning in 2021 and Lincoln Riley leaving town (247)

Mike Boynton provided an update on the Cowboys’ (lack of) portal activity.

“It’s like fishing in the ocean. You can get anything. Seaweed. A nice bass. It may not be your deal. It may not fit what you have. We got Moussa (Cisse) in July last year. We got (Bryce Thompson), I think, in May. Sometimes patience is a little bit more necessary than just trying to fill (your roster) with the first guy you see.”

The Cowboys have not yet made a roster addition for 2022-23 this offseason. And entering his sixth season in charge, Boynton is comfortable biding his time.

The Pokes didn’t make the cut for the SMU transfer they offered last week (247)
