NFL scouts are ogling Jelani Woods at Virginia

Plenty of coachspeak here from the OSU administration when asked realignment at the OSU event in OKC earlier this week – the best move at this point

OSU may dip into the vaunted Lake Travis quarterback pool per this 247 article ($$$) – here’s the guy

Three Cowboys are still playing at the US Amateur going into this morning

Update on Rickie Fowler going into the Northern Trust next week – here’s what he’s gotta do to make the FedEx Cup Playoffs:

…Rickie Fowler is currently ranked No. 130 in the FedEx Cup standings. He needs to finish 21st or better this week to get into the top 125 and make the playoffs, which start next week with The Northern Trust. However, even if Fowler misses his first FedEx Cup Playoffs ever (he’s played in every one since 2010), he is not in danger of losing his PGA Tour card. His 2015 Players Championship win exempts him through the end of the 2022-23 PGA Tour season.

Would be nice for the Pokes to add great size like this guy at the tackle position in the next class – football recruiting seems to have gone a bit cold since realignment news broke (no commitments)

• You could see two Gameday games coming for the Pokes this season (per this list)

Rodarius Williams continues to show out for the New York Giants in training camp

• Numbers assigned to the incoming Cowboy Basketball players:

• Yup.

Non-OSU Bullets

• How these soccer fans talk about losing their star to a bigger club is something else – but it resonates thinking about OSU going Group of Five and when KD left OKC

This ESPN story about a college football coach and his missing mother is wild

• The most audacious parenting lie – the tooth fairy has been a struggle at our house too (it’s a bizarre concept when you think about it)
