USA Wrestling recently announced the Last Chance World Team Trials Qualifier will be taking place in Fargo, North Dakota July 15-16 at the FargoDome and two notable former Cowboys are registered.

Two-time NCAA champion Dean Heil (65 KG) and NCAA finalist Derek White (125 KG) are both registered according to the USA Wrestling registered wrestler list. 

A win here for either would qualify each for the 2021 Senior World Team Trials, which will be held at a location and date to be determined. Athletes who have already qualified will not be allowed to compete in this event.

Heil will be representing the Navy-Marine Corps RTC and White will be representing the Titan Mercury Wrestling Club.

These are the only two former Cowboys currently registered. Registration is open until Thursday, July 15.
