Four of the top 10 Oklahoma high school football players will end up in orange and black.
DeSean Brown signed with Oklahoma State on Wednesday. Brown is a four-star edge rusher from Choctaw who also had offers from Oklahoma, Missouri, Arizona State, Baylor, Nebraska and others.
Brown is a four-star prospect, according to Rivals. The composite system has him narrowly as a three-star recruit and the No. 436 player in the 2022 class. He is the No. 10 player in the state, according to the composite system. Rivals lists Brown at 6-foot-4, 255 pounds, whereas 247Sports has him at 6-3, 230.
OSU has been after Brown’s services for a while, offering him on Halloween of 2020, his first reported offer.
As a junior in 2020, Brown recorded 30.5 tackles for loss, including 15 sacks. Brown’s Yellowjackets finished his senior season 8-3.
Brown is the eighth in-state player join the Cowboys’ 2022 class, along with Talyn Shettron (Edmond Santa Fe), CJ Brown (Beggs), Braylin Presley (Bixby), Mason Gilkey (Pawhuska), Jaleel Johnson (Putnam City North), Gabe Brown (Stillwater) and Tabry Shettron (Edmond Santa Fe).
