NORMAN – Trent Brown and Max McGwire homered and Jake Bennett was ace again as the Oklahoma baseball team defeated Baylor 5-3 Friday evening to open Big 12 conference play at L. Dale Mitchell Park.

NORMAN — No. 1 Oklahoma (27-0, 1-0) won its 12th consecutive game by run-rule to open conference play on Friday, beating Baylor 9-1 in five innings.

NORMAN  —  The No. 3 Oklahoma women’s tennis team defeated the No. 22 Baylor Bears, 6-1, at the Headington Family Tennis Center, continuing their undefeated conference record and home streak.

Gundy has a 149-69 record as the Cowboys’ coach.
