A season after playing a grand total of one night game, OSU has made a habit of playing under the lights in 2021 — and that apparently isn’t changing any time soon. The Cowboys’ Week 5 matchup against Baylor will also be a night game, the Big 12 announced on Monday, with a kick time set for 6 p.m.

The game will air on ESPN2.

OSU has played just one game all season outside of primetime — an 11 a.m. kick vs. Tulsa in Week 2 — with tilts against Missouri State, Boise State and this weekend’s game vs. Kansas State all kicking at 6 p.m. or later. Only one game began last season after 5 p.m., and that was a 6:30 Bedlam kickoff in which OSU was defeated 41-13.
