You would think that if the Sooners are able to at least bring the turnover margin to level ground against Iowa State, things will start looking up. Having said that, we have no idea which issue this team will experience from week-to-week or who will even be available to play. It’s all incredibly unsettling while at the same time adding an entirely new layer of drama to the college football season. It’s going to be a bumpy ride for all involved.

I’m usually completely in favor of a prime-time kickoff, but these are Covid times, and the priorities have shifted. Are any of us looking forward to spending the entire day worrying about a game against a team that lost to The Artist Formerly Known As Louisiana-Lafayette? I’m certainly not.
