The New York Knicks would have to trade Kevin Knox in a potential deal for Chris Paul, sources told Marc Berman of the New York Post.
The Thunder are said to be looking for a first-round pick and a player still on their rookie contract in exchange for Paul.
The Thunder prefer Knox as the prospect on their rookie deal, according to sources.
The Knicks, who have seven first-round picks over the next four drafts, would rather deal Dennis Smith Jr. or Frank Ntilikina – though the Thunder are not fans of Smith.
The Knicks reportedly prefer trading for Victor Oladipo over Paul.
