Mike Boynton has to be close at batting 1.000 on top lists this past week.
Boynton and Oklahoma State made another Saturday when Bryce Lindsay released his Top 6: Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech, Marquette, Xavier and Georgetown.
The Cowboys just offered Lindsay last week after he dropped 32 points in a game at the Nike EYBL’s Peach Jam. He’s a 6-foot-3, 160-pound combo guard who plays for Bishop Walsh in Maryland and played for Team Melo this summer on the AAU circuit.
A late-riser, Lindsay is a three-star prospect, ranked 35th among combo guards in the 2022 class, according to 247Sports.
Oklahoma State is on a spree of top lists in the 2022 class. In the past week, the Cowboys have made the Top 9 for Quion Williams, the Top 10 for Shaedon Sharpe, the Top 8 for Quadir Copeland and the Top 6 for Aidan Shaw.
It’s uncertain at this time how many players Boynton and Co. will take in the 2022 class. Isaac Likekele is the only counting senior on Boynton’s roster this season, but there are a handful of players with the potential to take an NBA leap after the 2021-22 season.
