The Cowboys have a solid pipeline to Booker T. Washington High School, and they’re hoping to continue it in 2023.
Oklahoma State offers four-star athlete Micah Tease on Wednesday, he announced on Twitter.
Who Is He?
Tease stars all over the field for the Hornets whether that be at safety or at receiver. As a sophomore in 2020, Tease made 14 receptions for 371 yards (26.5 yards per catch) and two scores for a Booker T. team that went 8-4. The Hornets are 2-0 to start 2021.
It looks as if OSU is recruiting Tease as a defender, as he mentioned OSU corners coach Tim Duffie in his offer post.
Looking at film from his sophomore year and junior year, it seems as if Tease has bulked up this offseason. He is listed at 5-foot-11, 180 pounds on 247Sports.
In the Rankings
According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Tease is the No. 231 player in all of the 2023 class, making him the No. 4 Oklahoman in the cycle behind Luke Hasz (Bixby), Jacobe Johnson (Mustang) and Bai Jobe (Community Christian).
247Sports is highest on Tease, listing him as the No. 150 player in the Class in the Top247 rankings. Meanwhile, ESPN has him as the No. 294 player in his class, and Rivals has him unranked nationally, for now.
Others Involved
Tease’s stock erupted this offseason. Pitt was his first Division-I offer, coming in March. He waited until June for his second, but the flood gates opened since then. Notre Dame, Iowa State, Texas Tech, Florida, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Missouri, USC, TCU, Cal, Ole Miss, Memphis, Arkansas and now Oklahoma State have all offered since June 8.
