Oklahoma State Offers Three 2023 Texas Edge Rushers

Oklahoma State defensive line coach Greg Richmond was hard at work on the recruiting trail this weekend, sending out a trio of offers to 2023 prospects.

Here is a quick look at each guy the Cowboys offered.

Billy Walton

Listed at 6-foot-3, 230 pounds, Billy Walton plays his high school ball at South Oak Cliff in Dallas. A three-star prospect according to Rivals, Walton already has offers from Texas, Texas A&M, Arizona, Tennessee, Purdue, Louisville, TCU, SMU, Kansas State and others. As a junior in the 2021 season, Walton had 55 tackles, 21 tackles for loss, 12 sacks and a pair of pass breakups. He primarily played as a hand-on-the-ground edge rusher for the Bears, but there were also times he played as a more traditional outside linebacker.


Tre Williams

Out of the Parish Episcopal School in Dallas, Tre Williams is a 6-foot-2, 205-pound edge rusher and a three-star prospect on Rivals. OSU joins the likes of Nebraska, Iowa, Arizona State, Cal, Colorado, Oregon State and SMU in offering Williams. He had 129 tackles as a junior, including 24.5 tackles for loss and 11 sacks. He also had six pass breakups, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. Similar to Walton, Williams can play with his hand on the ground or roaming on the second level.


Keviyan Huddleston

A three-star prospect on 247Sports, Keviyan Huddleston already has offers from Arkansas, TCU, Texas Tech and others. Listed at 6-4, 235 pounds, Huddleston plays at Chapel Hill High in Tyler, Texas. He played at defensive end and offensive tackle as a junior in 2021, helping Chapel Hill make it to the state semifinals. He had 26 tackles on the year, including eight tackles for loss and five sacks. Huddleston forced three fumbles and recovered one for a touchdown.
