OSU Softball: How to Watch the Stillwater Regional

May 17, 2022

We’ve got the potential for a lot more softball in Stilly.

Oklahoma State earned a 7 seed in the NCAA Tournament, meaning the reigning Big 12 Champs’ path to OKC runs straight through Stillwater and the action starts on Friday with the Stillwater Regional.

Here’s a look at this weekend’s schedule.

Friday, May 20
Game 1 –Nebraska vs. North Texas – 5 p.m. CT (ESPN+)
Game 2 – Fordham vs. Oklahoma State – 7:30 p.m. CT (ESPN+)

Saturday, May 21
Game 3 – Winner G1 vs. Winner G2 – 1 p.m. CT
Game 4 – Loser G1 vs. Loser G2 – 3:30 p.m. CT
Game 5 – Winner G4 vs. Loser G3 – 6 p.m.

Sunday, May 22
Game 6 – Winner G3 vs. Winner G5 – 3 p.m. CT
Game 7 – Winner G6 vs. Loser G6 (if necessary) – 5:30 p.m. CT

If you aren’t planning on attending every game in person at Cowgirl Stadium, you can watch any of them on ESPN’s “family of networks.” That just means that the TV slots aren’t set as of yet, but any game not appearing on the traditional tube will be streamed on ESPN+.

Kenny Gajewski has led OSU to postseason appearances in every season as head coach aside from the COVID-shortened 2020 season. The Cowgirls current streak of six makes for the second-longest NCAA run in school history behind the 11 straight from 1988-98 under Sandy Fischer.

If the Cowgirls survive their own regional, they’ll host a super as well. A win there means that OSU will have made it the Women’s College World Series three consecutive times. The 2020 WCWS was cancelled due to COVID.
