Dr. Glenn Foster Jr. and Richard Foster of local homebuilding company, Foster Signature Homes, have built their business creating forever homes for families throughout the Oklahoma City metro area, and they take great pride in the high-end, high-quality homes they construct.
From foundation to finishes, Foster’s craftsmanship and attention to detail are evident throughout each finished project, and their new model home is just the place to imagine the possibilities.
The contemporary home, located at 4700 Las Colinas Ln, offers an example of Foster’s use of traditional materials in modern ways to create a blend of old and new.
Sitting on a spacious lot in the prestigious Las Colinas neighborhood, just off of 48th Avenue in west Norman, the 3,838 square-foot model features an open floor plan with 12-foot ceilings, four bedrooms and four bathrooms as well as a dining room, game room and bonus study.
Unlike any other model home Foster has created, this two-story boasts several upgrades, including a bar, butler’s pantry, spacious his and her walk-in closet and an outdoor fireplace. The large kitchen has an abundance of storage space and a waterfall island that would satisfy any chef.
“We put a lot of our upgrades in this home to showcase what’s available and what we’re capable of creating,” said Chelsea Greene, marketing manager with Foster Signature Homes.
Additional features include three-car split garage, room to build a pool and a second-floor balcony that overlooks an open meadow and pond.
The model home is open to the public Wednesday through Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. and will be featured in the BASCO Festival of Homes this month. All homes on the tour will be open June 1-3 and June 8-10 from 1 to 7 p.m.
While a majority of their work is currently in Edmond, they also build homes in other communities across the metro, including in Newcastle, Piedmont, Mustang and Blanchard. Foster Signature Homes also builds in the Fountain View community in Norman.
Although the company has projects throughout the metro, the family-owned business plans to keep its roots in Norman. Both Glenn and Richard are Norman natives, and they continue to stay involved in the community through the Norman Chamber of Commerce, University of Oklahoma and many other organizations. Foster’s is this year’s builder of the 2018 St. Jude Dream Home, located in the Addington Farms community in Deer Creek. Tickets for the home will go on sale in mid-June.
