NORMAN – Oklahoma football opened its first preseason camp under head coach Brent Venables Friday morning with a two-hour workout at the football practice fields on OU’s campus.

NORMAN – University of Oklahoma Vice President and Athletics Director Joe Castiglione announced the hiring of Sarah Trowbridge (TRO-bridge) as the second head coach of the Sooners’ rowing program on Wednesday.

NORMAN – The University of Oklahoma Athletics Department received a record-breaking $109 million in total donations and pledges during the 2021-22 fiscal year (FY22) that ended June 30, topping the $100 million mark for the first time. The previous OU Athletics record was $58 million, set in the 2020-2021 fiscal year.

NORMAN – University of Oklahoma head baseball coach Skip Johnson announced Monday that former OU player and assistant Russell Raley is returning to the Sooners as volunteer assistant coach.
