Josh Sills Signs with Philadelphia Eagles as Undrafted Free Agent

April 30, 2022

Josh Sills went undrafted this weekend, but he’ll get a chance in Philly.

The former Oklahoma State offensive lineman has agreed to terms with the Philadelphia Eagles, per 247’s Cody Nagel.

Sills started his career in Morgantown but didn’t take long to become an integral part of the Cowboys’ offense once he showed up in Stillwater. He played in every game for West Virginia as a redshirt freshman in 2017 and then was named to the All-Big 12 second team for the Mountaineers as a sophomore before missing the remainder of 2019 due to injury.

Sills landed in Stilly a year later and started every game up front for the Cowboys, having to fill multiple roles, in 2020. He earned All-Conference First-Team honors in each of the last two seasons.

The Eagles only had five draft picks this year, but both offensive players they selected went toward solidifying their front line and supporting QB Jalen Hurts. They drafted Nebraska center Cam Jurgens and then SMU tight end, and another former Bedlam foe, Grant Calcaterra.
