Rowland has hosted the T-Row Show with TJ Perry since 2004. Since 2017 Rowland has been know as the “Voice of the Sooners”. A two-time Emmy Award winner, Rowland spent 12 years as a sports anchor, reporter and producer at KWTV 9 in Oklahoma City.
A REF original. TJ has been with the station since January of 2002 and took over as Program Director in 2004. TJ’s show wouldn’t be what it is however without the great callers that caught on quickly to his sense of humor and the direction he wanted to take the show.
Co-Host of “The Rush” with Tyler McComas, Teddy comes from Fort Gibson, OK where during his senior year helped the Fort Gibson Tigers post their best-ever record of 13–1, advancing to the Oklahoma Class 4A state championship game.
ChrisPlank is the longtime sideline reporter for Oklahoma Football, and The Voice of the 8-time National Champion Oklahoma Softball team. Plank offers Sooner fans both insider access and passionate play-by-play from the field to the airwaves.
Tyler McComas is a 15-year veteran at KREF and drives the show every afternoon. Also the Brand Manager The REF, he’s done virtually everything at the station, from hosting pre and post-game shows, to high school coverage to even hosting an OU Softball podcast titled“DiamondEnvy.”
Josh Helmer is a 2013 graduate of the University of Oklahoma. A member of KREF’s team since 2015, Josh also broadcasts high school sports for The Ref, hosts high school coaches shows and contributes toBoydStreet Magazine.
Parker Thune is, in Steely’s words, the “young whippersnapper” who serves as the co-publisher of OUInsider.com when he isn’t on the KREF airwaves. He’s been covering Oklahoma football in a professional capacity since 2020, and brings authoritative recruiting intel and well-informed opinions to the show
Mike Steely is a legend of Oklahoma radio, widely acclaimed and beloved for his humor-injected style of sports talk. An elder statesman in the Oklahoma media scene, his decorated career stretches back to the early 1980’s.
Dari Nowkhah joins KREF weekday mornings from 9am to noon. Dari also serves as the lead host of ESPN’s SEC Network, where he hosts shows including SEC Now, SEC Football Final and Rally Cap out of the network’s Charlotte, NC studios.
Grayson Singleton is an Oklahoma State grad, for which he takes the occasional onair ribbing — especially given that he’s the youngest member of KREF’s regular lineup. However, he’s tapped in to all the key storylines on the OU recruiting scene, and his colorful sense of humor brings a unique and jovial dynamic to the show.
Blake Gamble is best known for his work across the state as a high school sports announcer, but his unique path to the airwaves also includes a background in data trackingfor theLos Angeles Dodgers.
